Low Hanging Fruit

Everybody's home tonight, sitting by the fire light,
Trying not to die of fright, like low hanging fruit.
Can I be the only one feeling that there's something wrong?
Still, I have to live among the low hanging fruit.

I hear the clarion call. Why don't you all?
That's why they shoot at low hanging fruit.

The vineyard owner's taken leave, the vineyard's full of rogues and thieves.
They're raiding all the treasuries of low hanging fruit.
If you can believe the news, if you can ignore the clues,
Then it's fair to label you as low hanging fruit.

I hear the clarion call. Why don't you all?
Tales they will weave for you to believe.
Webs they will spin to trap your minds in.
That's why they shoot at low hanging fruit.
